This is an aerial photo of the Legacy Harbour Marina. It's a very nice facility, near grocieries, restaurants, and coffeeshops. |

Here's another photo from Legacy Harbour Marina, located downtown Fort Myers, Florida |
The outside temperature is 85 degrees. Wind is from the SW at 13 mph (that's about 11 nautical miles per hour). The tide is rising with high tide at noon. Mike is shopping for a heavier anchor (boat neighbor Bruce stopped by with coffee this morning and offered to take him to "Dicks" and save us some money from West Marine). I'm trying out the on-board washer/dryer combo and will await Mike's return before cooking some scrambled eggs for breakfast. After a visit to the marina office, I learned Harbormaster Eric is leaving tomorrow on vacation to Fort Collins, CO to celebrate his dad's 80th birthday and won't be available to accompany us on the boat later today. We had hoped Eric could accompany us on a Velsignet cruise on the river to get a feel for how she handles, practice our anchoring and docking skills, and learn more about the boat's electronic systems. We've read the AGLCA's "Getting underway checklist" and will go through it later today. Will we be ready to leave Legacy Harbor Marina tomorrow? We wonder.
